The admission to B.Ed. course is through a centralised allotment process done by the commission of the Government of Kerala. The merit of the candidates will be decided on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The management seats (15% of total intake of 50 students) will be filled by the management.
Eligibility:
The minimum % of marks for admission is 50% in Bachelor’s Degree (Science/Arts subjects). The applicants who have secured 50% in the part III (main & subsidiary together) are eligible for admission. For B.Ed. English optional, B.A. degree with English language and Literature/ functional English/ B.A. Communicative English with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible. Applicants having B.A./ B.Sc. Degree with 50% of marks for Part I English and not less than 50% marks for Masters Degree in English language and literature are also eligible. M.Ed. Degree course (two-semester) offered in this college is affiliated to M.G. University. The total intake is 35. The eligibility for admission is B.Ed. degree with not less than 55% marks. The rank list for M.Ed. course will be prepared by giving weightage for marks secured in the qualifying examination (B.Ed.), marks for P.G. and teaching experience.
All candidates seeking admission to M.Ed. course either in the open quota or in the management quota will have to appear for the entrance examination positively. The Entrance Examination will consist of one paper of one hour duration and consisting of 100 objective-type questions. Each correct answer will be awarded 0.5 mark and 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Fee structure and the nature of reservation quota will be subject to the decision/policy of the Government/University at the time of selection.
