    Candidates under merit list are requested to report at the college for interview on 17.07.2017 at 10.00 a.m.

    The following documents in original should be produced by the candidates at the time of interview

    (1) Transfer Certificate (2) Conduct Certificate (3) SSLC or equivalent certificate (4) Mark list of all parts of degree examinations and PG examinations wherever applicable and Degree/Provisional certificate(s). (5) Certificate to prove nativity. (copy of the SSLC or any other relevant document) (6) Certificate obtained recently in support of claim for communal reservation (if applicable.) (7) Certificate in support of special reservation if applicable. (Sports/PWD) (8) Eligibility Certificate from MG University in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (UG & PG) from other universities outside the state. (9) Migration Certificate (for candidates passed their qualifying examinations from universities other than M.G.) (10) NSS/NCC Certificate at degree level (if applicable). (11) Certificate in support of Ex-service category claim obtained not earlier than six months (if applicable). (12) Passport size photograph – 5 Nos. (13) Self addressed stamped (Rs.5) envelopes – 2 Nos.

Details of the Achievements of Students during the Last Two Years in Various Inter-Collegiate Competitions

2015

Jitty P. John and Johnson Joseph were the runners up for 8th Principals’ Trophy Inter B.Ed. Shuttle Badminton Tournament on 28th February 2015 held at Titus II Teachers College, Thiruvalla.


Bejoy Babu and Akhil K. won first prize for the Dr. P.T. Abraham Memorial Inter Collegiate Science Quiz competition held at St. Mary’s College for Teacher Education Thiruvalla on 28th February 2015.


Our college team has won the 2nd All Kerala Rosamma George Kulangara Memorial Inter Teachers’ Training College Athletic Meet held at 7th March 2015. Mr. Noble Mathew won the individual championship.


Our college team has won the Runners-up trophy in the 9th Inter-training Collegiate Athletic Meet held at 21st March 2015.

Mr. Noble Mathew won the individual championship.

  • Chinchu Varghese, Shabana V.P., Nisha E., Neenu P. Sunny, Linsha M., Dhanya V.K. & Minnu K. Joseph won the third prize in Sanga Nritham conducted by St. Johns the Baptist College of Education, Nedumkunnam on 05-02-2014.

  • The college team won third prize in SangaNrutham competition conducted by Alumni Association of St. John the Baptist’s College of Education on 8th February 2013.
  • Bibin Mathew and Veena V. Nair has secured Bercumans Trophy, in All Kerala Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition in Mathematics held at S.B College, Changanassery on 12th December 2012. They also became the runners up in the Inter Collegiate Mathematics Quiz Competition held at K.E. College Mannanam.
  • Joyce Francis and LibinCheriyan won the first prize in the Shuttle badminton tournament organized by Titus II Teachers College Tiruvalla on 30th January 2013. Nisha Mathew secured the Women’s Championship in the same competition.
  • LibinCherian and Joice Francis Secured Men’s championship in the Inter training Collegiate Shuttle Badminton Competition held at St. John the Baptist College of Teacher Education Nedumkunnam on 8th February 2013.
  • Students participated in Elocution, Quiz and Group dance competitions organised various colleges and also in the various competitions of university youth festival held at Kottayam  from 25th to 27th February 2013.
  • Mr.Vineeth N. and Mr.Meljo Thomas won the first prize in the Shuttle badminton tournament organized by Titus II Teachers College Tiruvalla 19th January 2012.
  • Ann Mary Joy and Rosna Xavier secured second prize in the El-Lit- Quest an inter-collegiate literary quiz competition organised by St. Thomas College of Teacher education Pala on 19th January 2012.
  • Anoop V. P. won second prize in light music competition conducted by YMCA Thiruvalla on 4th February 2012.
  • Ann Mary Joy and Rosna Xavier secured third prize in the Lit- Quiz an inter-collegiate literary quiz competition conducted by Deva Matha College, Kuravilangad on 9th February 2012.
  • Our college choir won second prize in group song competition in the Samfest conducted by SahodaranAyyappan Memorial College of Education, Poothotta on 24th February 2012.
  • Students participated in Elocution, Quiz and Group dance competitions organised various colleges.
  • Students participated in Carmel Fest conducted by Mount Carmel College of Education Kottayam and also in the various competitions of university youth festival held at Thiruvalla from 29th February to 4th March 2012.

Sports and games

  • The institution encourages student teachers to participate in extracurricular activities, including sports and games by organizing various competitions. A full time physical education director gives regular coaching to the teacher trainees
  • Institution has a large play ground with all the facilities for sports and games. So the student teachers take interest in sports and are keen to participate in team events. House wise organizations are there in the college.
  • Indoor games are available and often students enjoy themselves whenever they get the opportunity. The college awards prizes, shields, cups and certificates to the winners at respective activities.
  • Annual sports meet was conducted on 24th January, 2014. Students grouped under four houses, viz., Achillis, Emerald, Olympion and Pheonis participated in the various sports and games events. The individual champion of men was Melbin Mathew. The individual champion of women was Rosmy Joseph.
  • Students grouped under four houses, viz., Ganga, Kaveri, Nila and Narmada participated in the various sports and games events with true sportsman spirit. Vineeth N. secured the individual championship for men and Ambily Sivan was declared as   the individual champion among women. Student teachers are encouraged to participate in intercollegiate competitions in sports and games.
  • College organized the M.G. University Inter-training Collegiate Athletic Meet and our students secured prizes for various items. The Inter-training Collegiate Athletic Meet initiated by our college in 2007 assumes significance in view of the fact that it was the first of such an event not only in the history of Mahatma Gandhi University, but also in the history of Kerala State.
  • The 6th Inter-Training Collegiate Athletic Meet was held on 21st February, 2012 at Nehru Stadium, Kottayam. St. Joseph’s Training College, Mannanam won the Overall Championship. Ms.Ambily Sivan of St. Joseph’s Training College, Mannanam and Nadasha Paul of St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for women, Ernakulam shared the individual championship for women. Merit certificates and trophies were awarded to the winners in various events in the sports meet.  Special trophies and prizes were awarded to the individual champions from among men and women.  A special award distribution ceremony was organized to congratulate the team members who became winners at Inter-training Collegiate Athletic Meet.
  • The 7th Inter-Training Collegiate Athletic Meet was held on 16thFebruary, 2013 at Nehru Stadium, Kottayam. Prince Thomas of this College won the individual championship from among men and boys took the overall trophy in the competition.
  • The 8th Inter Training Collegiate Athletic Meet was organized by St. Joseph’s Training College, Mannanam on 16th February 2014 at Nehru Stadium, Kottayam. Thirty five colleges, affiliated to M.G. University participated in the meet. Mr. V. Ajith IPS, Superintendent of Police, Kottayam inaugurated the meet. Overall champion team: Titus II Teacher Education College, Thiruvalla. Runners-up team: Mangalom College of Teacher Education, Ettumanoor. Men's overall champion : Titus II Teacher Education College, Thiruvalla. Women's overall champion: St. Joseph's Training College, Mannanam. Individual champions among men: Johnson Baby, Mangalom College of Teacher Education, Ettumanoor. Individual champions among women: Rosmy Joseph, St. Joseph's Training College, Mannanam, Soumya Mathew, Mangalom College of Teacher Education, Ettumanoor. March Past: First prize goes to St. Xaviers Training College, Thottackattukara, Aluva Second prize M.E.S. Training College, Aluva and third prize shared by St. Joseph's Training College, Mannanam and Mar Thoma Teachers Training College, Edakkulam, Ranni.
