    Candidates under merit list are requested to report at the college for interview on 17.07.2017 at 10.00 a.m.

    The following documents in original should be produced by the candidates at the time of interview

    (1) Transfer Certificate (2) Conduct Certificate (3) SSLC or equivalent certificate (4) Mark list of all parts of degree examinations and PG examinations wherever applicable and Degree/Provisional certificate(s). (5) Certificate to prove nativity. (copy of the SSLC or any other relevant document) (6) Certificate obtained recently in support of claim for communal reservation (if applicable.) (7) Certificate in support of special reservation if applicable. (Sports/PWD) (8) Eligibility Certificate from MG University in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (UG & PG) from other universities outside the state. (9) Migration Certificate (for candidates passed their qualifying examinations from universities other than M.G.) (10) NSS/NCC Certificate at degree level (if applicable). (11) Certificate in support of Ex-service category claim obtained not earlier than six months (if applicable). (12) Passport size photograph – 5 Nos. (13) Self addressed stamped (Rs.5) envelopes – 2 Nos.

Hostels

College Hostels

There are 3 hostels that accommodate the students of St. Josephs Training College.

1. St. Joseph's Hostel

The St. Joseph's Hostel directly attached to St. Joseph's Training College, Mannanam provides accommodation to  majority of our male students.

 

1. Pope John Hostel

The Pope John Hostel of of the same management which is attached to K.E. College gives accommodation to majority of our girl students.

2. Holy Family Hostel

Similarly the Holy Family Hostel run by the Carmelite nuns, also renders hostel facilities to a good number of our girl students.


 

The Principal is the ex-officio warden of the hostels and shall assign students to any of the approved hostels.  The hostel wardens, appointed by the Manager will look after the discipline and day to day management of the hostels as per the directions of the Manager and the Principal.

 

Students can reside either at their homes or in any of the approved hostels during the training period.  They are not permitted to reside in any private houses or with the relatives without the prior sanction of the Principal.  Any change in the residence or address during training period shall be reported to the Principal immediately.
