    Candidates under merit list are requested to report at the college for interview on 26-06-2019 at 09.30 a.m.

    The following documents in original should be produced by the candidates at the time of interview

    (1) Transfer Certificate (2) Conduct Certificate (3) SSLC or equivalent certificate (4) Mark list of all parts of degree examinations and PG examinations wherever applicable and Degree/Provisional certificate(s). (5) Certificate to prove nativity. (copy of the SSLC or any other relevant document) (6) Certificate obtained recently in support of claim for communal reservation (if applicable.) (7) Certificate in support of special reservation if applicable. (Sports/PWD) (8) Eligibility Certificate from MG University in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (UG & PG) from other universities outside the state. (9) Migration Certificate (for candidates passed their qualifying examinations from universities other than M.G.) (10) NSS/NCC Certificate at degree level (if applicable). (11) Certificate in support of Ex-service category claim obtained not earlier than six months (if applicable). (12) Passport size photograph – 2 Nos. (13) Self addressed stamped (Rs.5) envelopes – 2 Nos.




UGC Sponsored National Level Seminar

A National level seminar on 'Reflective Practice: A Tool for Professional Development of Teachers' in collaboration with AKTCTA  was held on 16th and 17th of August 2013. Dr. Cyriac Thomas, Member Govt of India National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, New Delhi  inaugurated the conference. The Valedictory message was given by rev. Dr. O.C. Joseph, Principal,  K. E. College, Mannanam.

A National level seminar on  'Human Rights Education: Relevance of Multicultural Education based on the Philisophy of Pluralism in the Contemporary Indian Context' was held on 12th and 13th of January  2012. Dr. B. former Vice Chanceller, Kerala University  inaugurated the conference. The Valedictory message was given by Prof. Augustine A Thomas.


A National level seminar on Science of Identifying Research Problems and Crafting of Proposals was held on 25th and 26th of February 2011 5th, 6th of February 2011. Dr. Rajan Gurukal Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of M.G. Univerity, Kottayam, Kerala inaugurated the conference. He had a presentation on research project as his inaugural address.

The sub themes of the seminar were Problem Formulation, Research Funding Agencies and their Stipulations, Steps in Writing a Research Proposal and various Styles of Research. The Valedictory message was given by Dr. Sebastian Mathew, Asso. Professor and Research Guide, K. E. College, Mannanam.



The UGC Sponsored National Level Seminar titled ‘Quality Improvement in Educational Research: Innovative Trends was held in the college on 5th and 6th of March 2010. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Rajan Vargheese, Pro. Vice Chancellor of M.G. University. Teachers and research scholars from various colleges and universities participated in the seminar.



Inter Training Collegiate Athletic Meet

The 8thInter Training Collegiate Athletic Meet was organized by St. Joseph’s Training College, Mannanam on 16th February 2014 at Nehru Stadium, Kottayam. Thirty five colleges, affiliated to M.G. University participated in the meet. The meet started with the welcome speech by Dr. Varghese K. Cheriyan, our Principal., Mr. V. Ajith IPS, Superintendent of Police, Kottayam inaugurated the meet. Rev. Dr. Antony Edanad CMI hoisted the flag. Rev. Dr. SibichenKalarickal lighting the lamp. Dr. Binu George Varghese, Asst. Director of Physical Education, Mahatma Gandhi Univeristy, Kottaym and Rev. Dr. Thomas Pemala felicitated the ceremony.
